My name is Duyen Bui and I am a St. Louis-based photographer.
My journey with photography started as a child when my father placed his camera strap around my neck, pushing the weight of his camera into my hands. Surrounded by relatives scattered from across the country, I was tasked to immortalize these cherished, annual reunions. As we each accomplished new milestones every year, my passion for documenting these moments grew, pushing me to pursue opportunities to photograph not just my family, but all those around me.
My vision as a photographer is to capture the moments where you shine - whether it is to commemorate special occasions, to preserve your candid moments doing what you love surrounded by your loved ones, or simply to celebrate you in your day-to-day life.
